BLACKSMITH 101: Earth, Wind and Fire (Session 2)


Are your ready to move some metal? Join Oaks Bottom Forge for a one-day workshop and delicious feast to introduce you to the old world craft of blacksmithing. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of the trade: shaping, forming, tapering, flattening, twisting and punching. You will be the blacksmith as you learn to hammer a traditional wall hook. All metal, food (vegetarian or carnivores) + locally brewed beers are included! This workshop is the perfect introduction for those with an interest in moving metal or those who have merely dabbled in the past.
