Pre-College: Design and Print: Screenprinting T-shirts and More

Do you have an opinion or a statement that needs voicing? Perhaps you just want to spread joy as far and wide as you can? Well if so, printmaking is the discipline for you. Steeped in a rich culture of social progress and intellectual dissonance, printmaking is the first step to communicating your message on a mass scale.

Work side by side with artist and printmaker, Kanoa James as you learn the basics of screen printing (serigraphy) and the tricks of the trade gained by experience. Bolster and diversify your art portfolio with clean, registered and crisp images that can only be attained by the process itself. From start to finish, you will learn design, exposure techniques, registration, printmaking, and cleanup as taught on a collegiate level. Expand your voice to posters and apparel (T-shirts) so that you may share it with the world. Printing is water based and ecologically friendly. All supplies are included.
