HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATOR INVITATIONAL EXHIBITION
June 5-29, 2017

Opening reception: Friday, June 9 | 6-8pm

OCAC is honored to host the High School Educator Invitational Exhibition, which highlights local art teachers' creative practice as artists and demonstrates its impact on their students’ art education. Here at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, we strive to collaborate with regional educators and to highlight the creative achievements of future generations of thinkers and makers.

We are pleased to have had the opportunity to support young artists’ creative practice as well as to support art education in high schools through events and programming such as the annual OCAC High School Juried exhibition. In addition, this exhibition serves to complement our Art Adventure program, Pre-College Program and K-12 educator-in-residence program, which occur every summer. These opportunities support our initiative and determination to support students’ access to studio space and a creative environment with a versatile facility.
