Megan McGaffigan

Megan McGaffigan is a metalsmith/artist working in the greater Portland Area. She holds a BFA in Metalsmithing from Montana State University and an MFA from California College of the Arts in Jewelry/Metal Arts. She is most known for her adornments in animal topics and examinations of human-animal relationships. Her work parallels her daily life: intertwined with animals, forged by process, full of beautiful objects, and often accompanied by photography.  Her work has been exhibited nationally including Velvet da Vinci Gallery (San Francisco, CA), Society of Contemporary Craft (Pittsburg, PA), and the Racine Art Museum (Racine, WI).
