Younker, Shirod

SHIROD YOUNKER is a Portland-based printmaker, illustrator, carver and member of the Coquille Indian Tribe.  Shirod is a Native Oregonian and grew up on his ancestral homelands in the South Slough of Coos Bay, Oregon.  Shirod works primarily as a program manager for the "Journeys in Creativity" program at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, the only pre-college art program for Native American teens in the United States. He plans, manages and teaches workshops for both rural and urban Native communities in the Pacific Northwest.

Zornado, Marilyn

Marilyn Zornado is a book artist, calligrapher and animator. Her books are at the John Wilson Special Collection and University of Washington. Her animated films have been screened around the world. Author of “Adventures in Pen Land, An Inky Journey.”
