Dean of Academic Affairs Jiseon Lee Isbara Gives Lecture for Washington County Museum's Local Story Program

April 13, 2018

Jiseon Lee Isbara, Dean of Academic Affairs, will be taking part in Washington County Museum's "Local Story" program with a lecture on her work. Local Story is a public program that travels from location to location, working to raise awareness about the diverse people that contribute to the living history of the region.

Join us for a Local Story event on August 16th presented by South Korean artist Jiseon Lee Isbara. Amplified by her experience as a first generation immigrant, she engages with socially charged dialogue through the accumulated aesthetics, materials and processes she has garnered as an emigrant from her native culture. Through her artwork, Jiseon questions the congruity around her emotions and immigration politics. (learn more)
